Milo has never been a real heavy wetter but honestly he had no accidents!! Dan took the whole day to just focus on Milo... just him and Milo hanging out and focusing on the potty!!!!! We had him naked the whole day and used a timer so he sat on the potty every 15 minutes to try and go (each time the timer went off him and daddy would yell potty time!!!!!!)... it took awhile and after about sitting 10 times (Dan has the patience of a saint) he finally went!! and then the 2nd time he went the timer didn't even have to go off he just felt the sensation (the tickles as he calls them)
now we will see how it works tonight :) but we are just so proud of him!
anyway we wanted to make it really fun since he was SO not excited whenever we would talk about it... he was crying the day before about having to say goodbye to his diapers, he said he hated the potty etc... so we really played it up!!!!!
we had underwear hanging from the curtains, balloons on the potty's, an awesome sticker chart, spiderman in underwear, superman on a potty his size, prizes for when he made it to the potty, balloons galore and of course Elmo potty time and Bear in the big blue house potty time!
When he saw what the family room looked like he was SOOOOO excited!!!! It really could have gone either way so we were really excited but the best part was how proud he was of himself after going!!!
he did NOT want his picture taken and I wasn't pushing it I just wanted him to focus on getting his pee in the potty!!!! :) I can't believe how BIG he is getting!!!!!
and being so sweet with his sister :) watching them love each other just melts my heart!!
